Guest guest
I posted in December (different e-mail address). After an unsatisfactory discussion with my doctor ( " nothing wrong " with me and refused referral or any more blood tests)I decided to take the plunge. My TSH was 3.07, against max 3.3, no info on anything else. I took 2 Nutri Adrenal and Vitamin C from mid December each morning right through festive season until I'd recovered from all flu and cold symptoms. Last week I added 1/2 grain Armour in 2 doses, then up to 1 grain in 2 doses after a week. Improved my diet a bit to add more veggies and added multi-mineral supplement. And by Day 9 I'm beginning to feel better, if a long way from perfect!!!!8-)). I don't feel so bad in the morning The brain fog is lifting a bit Don't need chocolate M & Ms mid afternoon Even digestion feels better The menopausal insomnia is still there, but I'm not so AWAKE (yu have to have experienced this to know). I didn't put on the usual weight over Christmas (no idea why) And someone complimented me today on how good I'm looking (Why was my first reaction " she must be mad " !!?). I know there's a long way to go, but nothing will prevent me following this through, although I'm not going to rush the dose up. Anyway there's much more but I wanted to say a great big " THANK YOU " for you brave people, your help and the sense of HOPE from one exhausted, fat, menopausal, frazzled, foggy-brained individual. I wanted to add too that I contacted Dr Peden (who is on the list of Doctors Who Do and the only contact shown in Scotland) by e-mail and he has not replied. So if anyone knows of other endos in Scotland I'd appreciate info, (is there not a list somewhere???) but at the moment I'm doing fine without. Happy new year to all, Best regards, Helen
