Hi gallstones,

Have you ever tried making kefir with that?

Schmuel

Just a thought. We have a company in the newyawk area here that makes kefir

with a soy milk. They also have a pasteurized milk version. Ironically

generally the pasteurized milk version is the only one available in the health

food stores. When I am in the Russian neighborhoods I can find the soy kefir

some.

If it is a choice of your making it with pasteurized milk or a nut or soy milk,

do you lose anything to use the non-dairy product ? Clearly raw milk might be

the preference, but hard to get in many locales.
