Guest guest
, you've made some outstanding points regarding liver cleansing and other items as well. I think that the term " gallbladder flush " that this list represents is a misnomer. Yes, some of the stuff is coming out of the gallbladder but we are flushing stones out of the liver with the gallbladder acting only as a temporary holding area while the liver is being cleaned. Like when you mop the floor and you only see the dirt in the bucket - the liver is the floor and the gallbladder is the bucket. From my first 5 or 6 flushes I wouldn't have believed that, but after 28 I do. I have also cleared out other crud (gray fatty stuff) that has never been mentioned in any flush forum anywhere, and it had to be from the liver because I lost 7 or 8 pounds in one fell swoop. Yes the toxins come out too and I've previously mentioned my experience with that - and that's why I continue to try and impress on people when doing the flushes to ensure that you take both doses of Epsom salts in the morning and I personally add extra fiber for the next couple of days, because, toxins will stagnate in the colon and be reabsorbed into the body if you don't, and that benefit of the flush can be lost or diminished. I agree that Milk Thistle is the number one supplement for liver health and that it can in fact rebuild liver cells. I also take it in larger quantities prior to a flush, when I can remember or am not doing a " spur of the moment " flush. (Sometimes I find myself in a situation where I see an opportunity to do a flush and I haven't done a long prep but my body says " go for it. " ) I also find Budwig to be one of the best sources of cancer treatment. Those who use hoopla, electrical mish mash, and cannot produce independent results for others to review to me are far worse than conventional medical treatment and in fact give alternative medicine a very bad name. Besides Budwig, there is a Dr. Kelley (a dentist who was given 6 months to live) who cured his lymphatic cancer with coffee enemas plus supplements and who promotes his own form of healing along those lines to others. Winters was in the same condition - having lymphatic cancer and 6 months to live - and he too cured himself of cancer and also offers supplements. Along with Gersen I believe that each of these have something to offer in the way of cancer treatment. Garlic. Ah garlic. Several studies show that it has many benefits including support for the liver where it combines with heavy metals and transports them out of the body. If I had to limit myself to one supplement, it would be raw garlic. Some studies have shown that cold-processed garlic works to some degree too but I would stay away from any other form. Great post . These stones impede toxins from leaving the liver. In my opinion, if you believe you may have gb or liver stones, start juicing fresh vegetables and drinking lots of fresh apple juice which contains the acid we've talked about that softens stones (malic acid). In your later flushes you will be able to get out these softened crushed stones much easier than if you tried a flush without drinking apple juice for a while. There are fats in veggies. The only fats you would need to supplement with are Omega 3's found in flax seed oil or fish oil. note: If you are taking any kind of blood thinner do not take fish oil. Fish oil thins the blood much more so than flax seed oil. The protocol for successful flushes can be found at www.curezone.com<http://www.curezone.com/>, along with many testimonies. If you have been having pain and gallstone symptoms at the time you do start a flush, start out with a mild one. If you have gallstones, liver disease or cancer of the liver, you should start taking milk thistle (major liver support and antioxidant which actually helps healthy liver cells regenerate) and lecithin (thins the bile). You should try to drink fresh beet juice which also thins the bile and has antioxidant properties. Leah, you wondered about why some people get liver stones. Chances are you have a bacteria, parasite, or candida overload from your diet in your liver as well as your bowels and possibly all over your body. Your immune system fights these daily. This is a valuable army which you would much rather be used for other things. In the liver, these organisms irritate your bile duct walls and keep stones stuck there. There are some mild parasite cleanses you can look into, information about which also can be found at curezone. A physicist named Dr. Hulda believes that the growth factors emitted by parasites and bacteria are major contributers to cancer development, not to mention, the inflammation that keeps the stones from moving out. This phenomena may also be true in the case of candida. Candida is a relatively benign bacteria that everyone is supposed to have in the bowel. Commonly, conditions occur which allows this bacteria to mutate into a fungus which can go all over the body. Excessive carbohydrates, esp. refined sugar feed candida. I know when I did my liver cleanse I did not do a parasite cleanse before. I got out so much candida and I don't know what else, that I ended up with infections in the bowel and a bleeding duodenal ulcer that I had no idea how to deal with. The toxic biproducts emitted from candida are nasty. In time, when medicine allows itself to become more nature-based (as it already is in many other countries) more and more information will come out about the role of bacteria, fungi, parasites, and viruses in today's illnesses. For example, there is a type of lymphoma which occurs in the stomach called malt lymphoma. This lymphoma occurs in conjunction with a tiny spiral- shaped bacteria called helicobacter pylori. When successful antibiotic regimens are given and the bacteria is eradicated, the lymphoma goes away. It is wise to look into liver flushes and parasite cleanses, but if you have been sick, start slowly with both. As the microorganisms come out of their hiding places and start to die off, you may feel much worse for a week or so. Places like curezone usually advocate that you do a parasite cleanse before attempting a liver flush. As in my case, if you do liver flushes and get live parasites and candida out of your bile ducts instead of dead ones, they will only attach to the colon and start the process all over again. Regardless of whether you decide to do these two things, there are other natural ways to fight viruses, candida, parasites, and bacteria: (When I have talked about antifungals, it is primarily candida I am speaking of): All of these are antibacterial, antifungal, antiviral, and antiparasitic in varying degrees: garlic - grapeseed extract - caprylic acid - antifungal Pau d'Arco tea - pumpkin seeds, cloves, onions, thyme and sage, other herbs, grapefruit seed extract- probiotics or soil-based organisms - there are many more healthy and delicious natural microbe fighters listed at this site, at the bottom of the page http://www.hopeandhealing.com/healingfoods.htm<http://www.hopeandheal ing.com/hea\ lingfoods.htm> People develop gallstones for major reasons like eating the wrong fats (milk and meat). The only milk product I would eat is yogurt or cottage cheese once in a while mixed with flax seed oil ( see Dr. Johanna Budwig info for her healing diet). The only meat I would eat once in a while is Alaskan Salmon. Meat and milk are acidic and cause anaerobic bacteria to flourish in the bowel. They take longer to pass through the system, ferment, and the bad bacteria feed on that. You, as I said, do not just have bad bacteria, etc in your colon, you have it all over, including your liver. Another reason people develop gallstones is by eating foods that promote excessive sestrogen formation, like milk and meat, animal fats, omega 6 fats. Omega 6 fats are horrible for you in large quantities and it would seem this is all Americans eat. In modern society, cereals - mainly wheat, corn and rice - predominate, leading to a relative deficiency of Omega-3 fats compared with Omega 6 fats. This causes a ton of problems. The body just can't work well. http://www.healthyeatingclub.com/info/articles/fats-chol/balance-of- fats.htm<htt\ p://www.healthyeatingclub.com/info/articles/fats-chol/balance-of- fats.htm> I guarantee if you change your diet and look into parasite cleanses and flushes you will start feeling much better. Anyone who has gallstones has to avoid meats, milk products, overcooked foods, processed things like grains, too much salt, and refined sugar. An occasional whole grain prduct is okay. Take care and best wishes,
