Guest guest
When I do coffee retention enemas, I can literally hear/feel when my liver dumps (or releases) its toxins. (It gurgles in the area of my liver, and I have a chillbump sensation that runs up and down my arms.) The coffee enables the liver to work at a superhuman rate when you do coffee retention enemas or colonics. It is simply amazing, and it helps to alleviate some of the load off of your liver, since you then pass the toxins via your rectum and/or kidneys. I would suggest that you purchase the book, " Prescription for Nutritional Healing " by Dr. Balch which is slap full of helpful alternative medicine info. about vitamins/enzymes, illnesses, different treatments, etc. There's a whole section about enemas, and I think you will find it very informative. --- In gallstonesegroups, charlesworth <charlesworth@a...> wrote: > Someone mentioned a liver " dump " during a colonic. Guest guest
You've experienced "liver dumps" if you've ever had a sever enough flu, and had the runs that were yellowish. or yellowish and brown. When doing colonics, unlike having the flu, you're choosing the time for the liver to dump toxins, and it doesn't have the urge lasting for days. It has much the same feeling of that gurgle and the whoosh, but being connected to the waste line directly there is no need to run for the relief, it's just a matter of relaxing and letting it happen. What the liver is dumping is toxins. These toxins may be old lymph, blood, and scavenged materials from the Kupffer cells work. Now, there is a question which comes up, to those who, like myself, look at a medical chart and see that the only connection to the colon is the portal vein of the blood supply system, in that how is it that the liver gurgles one moment and then the next moment it is coming out the rectum? I think that is a fair question for which I've not gotten a satisfactory answer to date. It's amazing to think that the liver is dumping the goods directly to the colon when the bile passage is many feet further upstream at the duodenum. But it happens and it certainly is coming from the liver area, and it can be felt by the colonist, and yourself, by holding a hand over the liver to feel the gurgle from it just before the next 'urge'. There is negative feelings regarding the use of colonic irrigation. http://www.hcrc.org/ncahf/pos-pap/colonic.html But, despite this negative information, and the fact that you should 'follow the money', I find colonics to be invaluable for getting the colon in condition for the liver to be able to work with clean tubing and get wastes out, along with conditioning the colon. I do deal with plumbing in my work and can appreciate what happens when people dump the wrong things down the pipes over a period of time. Well, we're not much different, we get congested and then the processes don't work as they are suppose to do.
