Guest guest
Hi, Just thought I would join in on the Armour dosage debate. 1/4 grain = T4 (9.5 mcg) & T3 (2.25 mcg) = equivalency of 25 mcgs T4 1/2 grain = T4 (19 mcg ) & T3 (4.5 mcg) = equivalency of 50 mcgs T4 1 grain = T4 (38 mcg ) & T3 (9 mcg) = equivalency of 100 mcgs T4 You need to remember that Armour consists of T4 & T3 combined, and therefore each armour tablet gives the equivalent dosage of taking synthetic T4 as per table above. Guest guest
This is the latest from Afshin concerning delivery of medications from IP. Can anybody tell me how this would work please? Sheila From: afshin adibi [mailto:afshin@...] Sent: 04 March 2009 22:04 Sheila Subject: Re: armour dosage Perhaps Express Mail (EMS) should be used if the medication is needed urgently. EMS uses a company called parcel force for distribution within the UK. Their website is http://www.parcelforce.com; Telephone number: 08708 501150. They work very much like other express delivery companies. They clear customs and deliver the package to your door. So a refund really won't help them - apart from them knowing they have not lost their money. Did somebody report to Customs the fact that people were not paying VAT when they bought from you? Just wondering how all this came about. I am about to put in an order for the lady I told you about who lives in Suriname. I hope that doesn't go astray. How do other Internet Pharmacies cope with this problem. Surely because Armour and Cortef are prescription medicines they should be exempt of VAT when people need them to keep them alive. It seems that Pamela's first order for Armour had been held up for a few weeks and then she was charged about £18.00 for the Royal Mail handling fee and you told her not to pay it and it would eventually go back to you, and that you would send her another order. This has apparently arrived, and she has again been told this is another £18.00 which is also being held at the Post Office. I have sent her an unopened tub of 1 grain tablets to keep her going. Most people are receiving the orders without any hold up whatsoever, but for those who are being caught, this is really worrying. Most of my members are not even in paid employment and can't afford this, and it must be giving you a headache. Luv - Sheila Hi Sheila Thanks for sending the Armour. The second lot of Armour that Afshin sent has been held back by parcel force -- they want approx £36 in customs charges and delivery fees!!! It is absolutely ridiculous. It says on the bottom that it will go back to the sender if not collected within 20 days. I wonder if we can get the packages more easily if they are not marked as medicine? I tried to join the forum but it would not let me put my email address in - I will try again. I will email you today re the meal - we would like to have the £8 one. What do I owe you for the Armour? Kind regards Pamela
Guest guest
This is twice as bad as royal mail! Ok if I remember correctly ( & I have not used them for several years) they may not delay, but ask for the payment at the door when delivering, and charged £13.50 for the privilege, + the VAT of course. In my area if there are too many parcels that day by Royal Mail, they used to give them to parcel force and so I could be charged £8 or £13.50 depending on who delivered the same parcel. I thought they were the other arm of parcel force? I wish he would go bacl to the DHL idea - they are cheap, or him charge the VAT in the first instance. Pls ask Afshin to immediately get rid of this idea.
