Guest guest
I don't know about that. I used to wake up with pain on my right side after eating a large meal. Now I include a glass of red wine and no pain. I think the red wine contributed to my lack of pain. --- tina83862 <tina83862@...> wrote: > never heard of a orac value--but I will say since I > have been at > least 50% fruit I am doing better!!!!!!!! less > protein and fats have > helped my body return to a more normal state. > > and for the guy with alcohol---no way does it > dissolve stones--it > will hurt your liver not help it. > > try apple pectin (or pear)--which is from unfiltered > juice or juice > raw apples yourself--this is known to soften and > round out the > stones. > > > Diet is a big help but you must change > it.--promagranite juice is > great as well!!!I also drink cranberry, grapefruit > seems to help a > lot as well. > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > Have you heard of ORAC Value? > > > > > > > > > > > > Nutritionists suggest that people consume 3,000 to > 5,000 ORAC > units per day to have an impact on health. Guest guest
Being Italian we drink red wine and for me it actually hurts more--- but wine is suppose to help with digestion at least that is why people started to drink it with dinner. maybe for me it's more a liver issue. I find that if I take my betaine HCL with a big meal I am so much better the next day. This is a acid that aids in digestion. As we get older we supposedly make less? And those of us that have had acid reflux this could be our problem ---not making enough acid and it's usually seen in people late 40's over 50. One test is that if you drink lemon water and your acid decreases you are not making enough acid not too much. In younger people it's usually too much. Anyway best bet to know for sure is to get a liver panel done to see if your liver numbers are increasing. Alk, ast, bilirubin--total and direct--bun/creatinine ratio as well as lipid profile. http://www.labtestsonline.org/understanding/analytes/liver_panel/glan ce.html Mine used to be so low---and now they are just over the norm. So for me I must not drink. > > > > > > > > > Have you heard of ORAC Value? > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > Nutritionists suggest that people consume 3,000 to > > 5,000 ORAC > > units per day to have an impact on health.
