Guest guest Posted July 10, 2008 Report Share Posted July 10, 2008 Dan's right. also, tea and coffee both interfere wih iron absorpion, so really should not be consumed within an hour before or after a meal. We need to pay special attention to getting enough iron, as some people already are not eating enough red meat and other good iron sources to avoid becoming anemic.
