Guest guest
Well I have answered my own question, went to bed with high anxiety last night, racing heart and pulse so I am laying off the T4 for a couple of days and then going back to my old dose of 150mcg, really dont want to add to my syptoms and I dont like feeling like that, not nice. From: xxsarahxx_40 <xxsarahxx_40@...>Subject: 7 days on increasethyroid treatment Date: Monday, 11 August, 2008, 8:20 PM HiI am on day 7 of my T4 increase to 175mcg, felt a bit more anxious than normal today, not all the time but it is a noticeable increase, I have noticed this before with other increses and it has settled. Should I stick it out and see if it settles this time? I was a bit anxious about this increase but in my docs words 'its only a small increase, 25mcg isnt much!' I certainly think this will be last.I havent had any palpitations or rapid heart beat, yet!Send instant messages to your online friends http://uk.messenger. Guest guest
If this was me I would wait a couple of days to see where this new anxiety abates or not before reducing by 25 mcgs back to youro 150mcgs. Guest guest
I suspected as much . Lay off your thyroxine for as long as you can to get it out of your system and just take your NAE. Hope you feel better soon. Luv - Sheila No virus found in this incoming message. Guest guest
Hi Still feel anxious today Sheila with a heavy chest too, I havent taken T4 today and wont tomorrow either. I was reluctent about this increase and as my TSH is now 0.66 and T4 18.1 I think I am at my limit with the T4 meds, its just my feeling, anxiety is awful and as I suffer with it anyway (could be adrenals) I really dont want to make it worse From: sheilaturner <sheilaturner@...>Subject: Re: 7 days on increasethyroid treatment Date: Tuesday, 12 August, 2008, 9:08 AM If this was me I would wait a couple of days to see where this new anxiety abates or not before reducing by 25 mcgs back to youro 150mcgs. Guest guest
I am Sheila, will not take any for a few days, at least I only took the incresed dose for 7 days but it did have quite a quick effect! I will stick with 150 and give more attention to my adrenals, best way to go I think From: sheilaturner <sheilaturner@...>Subject: Re: 7 days on increasethyroid treatment Date: Tuesday, 12 August, 2008, 9:59 AM I suspected as much .
