Hi Jen,

The irregular and difficult periods are signs of low thyroid. I

actually went to the GP because of this and thats when the blood tests

showed low thyroid. Not low enough for the GP to be concerned about,

but anyway her preferred treatment was either take the Pill or try

these special types of anti inflammatories. I know myself well enough

and again, I think that once my thyroid is back on track then this too

will balance itself out. I am simply reluctant to throw a spanner into

works that are already malfunctioning! Maybe I am heretical for wanting

to treat the whole system instead of piece by piece approach!
