Guest guest
Thanks for your kind words and prayers. I knew I could count on this group for support. Krysta is alert for longer periods of time and has even said 5-7 word sentences. Most of the time we get a blank stare or her eyes will follow us but totally expressionless. Then out of the clear blue - a complete sentence. But the swelling has not gone down yet and the neurologist is saying she's still extremely critical. He also tells us that the damage is in 3 areas - speech, sleep/alert, and memory.
Guest guest
I will pray for your daughter, and you, hope things turn around -------------- Original message -------------- From: " carol.krey " <carol.krey@...> For those of you of faith, please pray for my daughter, Krysta. She is 27 and just had a stroke on Tuesday. At present her condition is critical, inoperable, and a very unusual type of stroke. We're praying the swelling will decrease quickly. The part of her brain that is damaged is the sleep/alert area. Worst case scenario is that she lives but is forever asleep. Thanks for the off topic place to share my concern. ~ Carol
