Guest guest
Hi ne, my daughter's Hepatologist said he could tell she has cirrhosis from the x-rays. He will not do a biopsy because her platelets are 38,000. He is supposed to be one of the best in the country. He is with the University of Miami and does research and goes all over giving lectures on liver transplants ect. Jodi, my daughter sees him every three months now. She was diagnosed in Feb. and was going to Miami every 6 weeks at first. Four hours from where we live, long drive to spend 30 minutes with a doctor. Oh well, she is worth every bit of it. Take care and God bless. Genny/Jodi's Mom/AIH
Guest guest
I have not read any of your previous posts so I guess I don't really know your situation, but I also struggle with oral thrush. Mashed potatoes would be like fuel on the fire, they convert to sugar, as I'm sure you already know. Does your doctor have you on nystatin? Grapefruit Seed Extract is very good for oral thrush as is brushing and gargling with hyrdrogen peroxide. You can purchase food grade hydrogen peroxide on the internet as strong as 35% and you dilute it with distilled water and drink. It most certainly would help your problem. JAG Hello Everyone, This is ne again. I just wanted to thank all of you for your wonderful suggestions. I just have one problem. Almost all the foods you have suggested are not that easy to swallow. My throat is incredibly swollen from the thrush. I haven't had any meat in 2 weeks simply because of the fact that I can't swallow it. Yesterday I couldn't even get down those little alphabet noodles (I know starch is bad, but honestly how many bowls of mashed potatos can a person eat). Does anyone have any suggestions as to mushy foods to eat? Thanx- ASend blank message to candidiasis-unsubscribeonelist if you want to UNSUBSCRIBE ! The jacket was a all weather jacket which took off, it really was warm enough. However life jackets and a helmet are a must, and they provide that. Guest guest
Thanks ne for the info on the epsom salts, and after going over everything I did or didn't do yesterday in my mind, another reason I came up with for the heart racing could be I didn't drink enough water yesterday before the 2pm no food or drink rule. I did get very thirsty last night maybe it was mild dehydration that could have caused the heart palpitations. Dee
