Guest guest
There are is so maney that think it a cure. The band is only aa tool and the craving will still be there. You have to do a lot of self control and you need to working out daily for the tool to work. I would do it in a heart beat. I have talked to Doctors that say 40% will fail and have it taken out for another WLS. Dig deep and we all can make the band work. I am one how has Randy C 398/250/240 148 lbs gone
Guest guest
I'm also one who strongly encourages working with a good therapist on our eating and food issues. Self-control and willpower are far from enough. As with any addiction, we need serious help. My therapist was truly invaluable, and I learned just an incredible amount about myself and why I was making poor choices. then, i learned to choose much better ways to meet my emotional needs, than all the extra food that was literally killing me. I also am a strong proponent of Guided Imagery and hope people will consider using the Bandster Success Guided Imagery CD's. They also were a huge help for me, and for many others. More info here, if anyone is interested: www.BandsterME.com Sandy r at normal BMI goal almost 5 yrs. > > There are is so maney that think it a cure. Guest guest
Thanks for the reply Sandy, It's hard for me to see folks go back to bad food and pop after having the band put in. Come on You have to make the tool work. Not eat around it... I sure hope that if you know folks that do this that they get some help Thanks again Randy C > > > > There are is so maney that think it a cure.
