Guest guest
Hi I just got my Salivary test results back, they are very erratic. They reccommend repeat testing for monitoring however I have no more money this was my birthday present money, I had this instead of a pressy. So here goes, hope you can help direct me towards the correct way to go from here :)luv Dawn CORTISOL 8am 12.2 (12.0 to 33.0) noon * 8.00 (10.0 to 28.0) 4pm 10.5 (6.0 to 11.8) midnight *13.0 (1.0 to 5.0) DHEA 8am 4.3* (7.0-18.3) noon 6.5 (4.8 to 8.2) 4pm 5.6 (3.5 to 6.0) midnight 2.9 (2.0 to 4.0) Comments: Salivary Cortisol profile: All values are either borderline or below reference range indicating poor/compromised hormone output on the cortisol pathway. In addition midnight result is above reference range Salivary DHEA-s profile: Slightly erratic hormone output; Overall profile indicates normal hormone output Overall comment Suggest repeat profile following medical consultation to monitor progress and ensure above results are not reflecting deterioration of samples in transit (as a guide adrenal hormones are stable for 3 to 4 days in the post )
Guest guest
thanks Shiela ASAP I will order some of both of these and then go from there . Yes lol no wonder I could not sleep then, I was tired that night though and I have to admit to just waking from an hours nap before doing the midnight one which doesn't usually happen, but I think my adrenals have been getting slowly worse as I have been getting totally sleepy all the of late what with the high TSH etc too. Thanks ever so for helping me out with that and I shall be back asking soon about how much of the NAE to take no doubt (and when) I have no idea what I would do without you on here luv Dawn
