Guest guest
This is a phenomenal site! Thanks! I encourage everyone to save this to your Favorites, for more than just iodine info. There are excellent explanations of how minerals work in conjunction with each other. I found the discussion of right/left receptors and " sided-ness " of certain symptoms very interesting. My bone spurs and edema tend to be on the right side of my body. My GP poo-pooed the idea of edema being more significant on one side than the other. The discussion of mineral imbalances and right/left receptors supports it. > > http://www.acu-cell.com/sni.html > > This seemed informative to me...curious on comments of others here..as > to accuracy of statements provided. > cindi >
Guest guest
It is an interesting site, thanks. The only info I found on who's site it is was: Dr. Roth D.Acu. - Does anyone know anything about him or the reliability of the site? I didn't see any " about me " or " about the site " kind of info. Guest guest
I looked up the website owner info at GoDaddy: http://who.godaddy.com/WhoIs.aspx?domain=acu-cell.com & prog_id=godaddy It lists the following: Registrant: Roth Roth (ISRC-4953278) (domain@...) Box 910 Ontario Ontario,L8S1H2 CA Tel. +1.7024410300 Fax. +1.7024410300 Creation Date: 21-Feb-2001 Expiration Date: 21-Feb-2007 Only thing I found from Google for a Dr. Roth was this. Don't know if it's the same one: http://tinyurl.com/yb5xjc Dr. Roth, Adjunct Professor D.D.S. Northwestern University 1957 M.S. Orthodontics/Oral Biology, Loyola University 1962 Diplomat, American Board of Orthodontics 1970 Hmmm...it is weird that it doesn't have an " about the site " page. I'd use the mineral info as a jumping off point to look up confirming info on the web. But then I found this. I searched www.dogpile for more info: http://www.glao.org/upload/glaonews05spring.pdf " The orthodontic profession lost two great leaders in 2005 when Dr. Hamilton and Dr. Roth passed away in January... " Maybe there's no contact info because he's now deceased (assuming it's the same person?) I don't know about the " Acu-Cell " technology might (whatever that is), but the concepts of mineral balance seem based in good biology on its face. It would be easy to follow-up on with at bit of research. For example, a bit of tin/iodine info here: Tin concentration in the thymus glands of rats and mice and its relation to the involution of the gland. http://www.ithyroid.com/tin.htm > > It is an interesting site, thanks.
