Guest guest
I am on day 5 of the armour thyroid. Last night was very restless, more so than normal and 'twitchy' - I have to say I am very scared. I am dipping in and out of Dr Peatfield's book but finding it difficult to retain any information. I am taking my pulse and temp am and about 10 pm but not sure what that's showing. I haven't taken the AT this am as don't want the anxiety I had yesterday afternoon - perhaps I just have to work through it. I took Nutri Adrenal Extra from April to October at 2 a day and then as it didn't seem to be working (saliva tests showed low cortisol) the new nutritionist switched me to Dr 's dynamite adrenals in December - post all the tests she organised. So I take: dynamite adrenals licorice 2 x in the am this week I added siberian ginseng from Sheila's advice Is this enough adrenal support? My nutrtionist (who has worked with Dr Peatfield) wants me to do another saliva test now to see if the dynamite adrenals has in fact made any difference - do you think I should take it now in the midst of all this? Is this a true reflection? Sorry not to be able to make a decision. I will order some more Nutri Adrenal Extra today too - I don't think the xylitol in the d adrenals is helping sugar craving which I know doesn't help the little adrenals - how I have neglected them all these years, bingeing and starving .... In the midst of yesterday I did overeat so I know it is all getting to me. The nutritionist has been excellent, supporting the thyroid and adrenals with supplements but believes we are not shifting them and I need extra help with the actual glandulars. However, she can't recommend them - off the record she said armour thyroid is better. So I am really in between her support and waiting for Dr Peatfield appointment. Feeling on the ice and sliding .... Maybe my adrenals are too shot to bits to cope with armour thyroid???? Or am I just being a baby??? Reassurance, advice appreciated. Thanks a lot.
