Tests are over...

Hi everyone.... My name is Shelia and I

posted a couple of weeks ago. I had a doctor's

appointment on Monday morning and was tested for Hashimoto's

(sp?) and had special blood work for Lupus (my biggest

fear). I am still waiting to hear from the doctor the

results of the Thyroid antibody test for the big H 8-)

Must wait a while longer for the Lupus tests. A member

of this club suggested that I ask for this

particular antibody thyroid test, and I did !! Thank you! I

would not have known to do that. Reading the posting on

some of the symptoms of Hasimoto's was very

interesting. I seem to be experiencing the racing pulse aspect

of that, too. I feel relieved to be on the way to

feeling like a human being - most of the last year I have

felt fairly comatose ! But, since most of my life I

was an insomniac, sleeping a full 12 hours is a

miracle - if only I didn't wake up exhausted. I know you

all know what I mean! I, too, had no idea about

hypothyroidism, but I have been trying to find everything I can

to do research on it. Thanks for your support
