Guest guest Posted December 9, 2008 Report Share Posted December 9, 2008 Okay folks, here's the news. I had my amnio today around 8:30am and got results back after 5pm. Lacie's lungs are not mature; therefore, no c-section tomorrow! So, next Tuesday we try again. I'll have another amnio Tuesday and if her lungs are ready at that point we'll do the c-section on Wednesday 12/17. The nice thing about it is *I* get to go the the Ravens/Steelers game this Sunday...WOOHOO! FYI - in case you are wondering, it's not unusual for a baby's lungs to not be mature enough at 37 weeks, especially if the mother is taking any amount of insulin. So now...we wait.
