24hour Urine test for Thyroid function - FT3 and FT4

Hi,

I am asking this question on behalf of one of our members who is

unable to log onto the site at the moment.

Has anyone had this test done? If so, were they happy that the

results gave a better indication of their state of health than the

usual blood tests? Do you need to stop taking your medication (in

this case Armour ) before the test, and if so, for how long?

Any information will be most helpful.
