*** Hi, the steroids are putting your blood pressure up and this causes the tinnitus. so what to do ? if it were me I would not up the armour for a while to let things settle down. when your treatment is finished...

Hi Angel,

Hmmm, can't imagine the drops causing the tinnitus, tbh - I've had tinnitus for many months now and I have only been on the drops for over 2 weeks ... it's just getting louder at present. The steroid dosage in those drops was so minimal (the equivalent of 2 mg pred max! - even taking in account the overdosing) and my BP is extremely low anyway (most of the time around 110/75 or thereabouts). - Sheila suggested that tinnitus might be caused by a lack of zinc... so I'm gonna test myself to see if I am deficient....

I've finished with the drops two days ago, so no more cortisone now for me .... - feel a bit cr*p today - not sure if it's the low Armour, or withdrawing the steroid drops or something else. Feel a bit sorry for myself and have a headache. Don't want to take anything for it, so I'm holding my head very still... it only hurts when I move it <G> - don't worry, I'll live ....

love,
