Guest guest
I have a horrible feeling that someone has screwed up badly and there is something I need to check. Do heavy periods become normal when hypoT is sorted out? Over what timescale? Surely one week of 1/8 grain Armour can't be enough to fix it? I had an IUD fitted last week and was *adamant* that I wanted a copper coil, not a progestin-imbued IUS, because I have had very, very bad experiences with synthetic hormones. Expecting my period this week, I was not looking forward to an even heavier period than usual. Yet I have had nothing more than three days of the lightest bleeding, so light I would call it spotting. This does not happen to me. I have a horrible feeling that the incompetent cow who fitted it has ignored what I said and fitted me with an IUS instead. I just want to make sure there's nothing thyroidian going on before I shout professional misconduct. Rosie
