Hello everyone... Today is Monday...and it has been 7 weeks since my

banding. It was done on November 19th.. I have been on solid food for - the

beginning of my 5th day....In the past three days...I have been taken by

surprise. I feel great..sit down to eat...and one bite...WHAM...and I have a

knot.

Now....what is going on? Am I not concentrating on what I'm doing and not

chewing my food to mush? Thought I was! I have not thrown up..but oh the

discomfort! I have to walk it off...I have encountered an urge to go to the

bathroom, which I do..and come back and can eat....I think this is

crazy....anyway...I'm realizing this is going to be a long term learning curve

for me. I

tried to eat 2 boiled eggs this morning with hubby for breakfast....cut each

one into 4ths...took one bite...tight...took another and WHAM...NOTHING

more...went and got what was left of my coffee...warmed it back up in the

microwave and took a couple of sips while I was walking around the house to get

some

relief. Finally got it...now..I'm NOT hungry, which I guess is a good

thing..it would be terrible to be hungry and not be able to eat....Is this the

morning tightness people speak of??? I've had my 4th fill.....I have a 4cc

band

and have 2cc in it. Maybe I'm just making the adjustment from liquids to

solids? I have been told that I may find that I cannot eat in the

mornings..but that is ok..that the stoma will be more open in the evenings...do

I have

anything to be concerned about? Soups go done fine..but I'm supposed to be

weaning myself off liquids!
