Guest guest
Hi Amber, Just a suggestion. Try grapefruit juice instead of lemon juice. From what I have read in the past that most people taking lemon juice end up throwing it up after ingesting it. I have never even felt nauseous after grapefruit juice. Most lemon juice should be watered down as straight juice is very strong. I do the master cleanse fairly often and I cannot tolerate more then the 2 tbls of lemon juice in a cup of water let alone straight lemon juice. I would do some experimenting before trying a whole cup straight. G Murray Amber wrote: >I'm doing a GB flush after having my first ever attack. Guest guest
Hi Amber, The question is probably most accurately answered by the author of the particular flush you are doing, but in theory I can tell you that unfortunately milk would be out. The build up of bile to " open the pod door Hal " could be compromised by the butter fats in the milk. Good luck, may it be 9 days, smooth as silk. ----- Original Message ----- From: Amber <mailto:amber@...> gallstones <mailto:gallstones > Sent: Monday, March 20, 2006 5:58 PM Subject: GB flush question I'm doing a GB flush after having my first ever attack. Guest guest
I think you'd be better off drinking juices on days 8 and 9. If you have a juicer, you could make fresh veggie juices, or you could buy ready made juices. If you drink milk at all, it should be skim milk. You might find that you do fine with only water after the limited diet the first 7 days. My question is, is it okay to > drink milk on days 8 and 9? I might risk it on the final day of the purge. So are you saying that the grapefruit juice works as well as lemon juice? Amber
