Hi Amber,

Just a suggestion. Try grapefruit juice instead of lemon juice. From

what I have read in the past that most people taking lemon juice end up

throwing it up after ingesting it. I have never even felt nauseous

after grapefruit juice. Most lemon juice should be watered down as

straight juice is very strong. I do the master cleanse fairly often and

I cannot tolerate more then the 2 tbls of lemon juice in a cup of water

let alone straight lemon juice. I would do some experimenting before

trying a whole cup straight.

Hi Amber,

The question is probably most accurately answered by the author of the

particular flush you are doing, but in theory I can tell you that unfortunately

milk would be out. The build up of bile to " open the pod door Hal " could be

compromised by the butter fats in the milk. Good luck, may it be 9 days, smooth

as silk.

Subject: GB flush question

I'm doing a GB flush after having my first ever attack. I know there

are several different methods of flush, but I'm doing a 9 day one that

calls for many herbs and vitamins and olive oil and lemon juice daily.

However, on days 8 and 9, I am supposed to eat no food, just drink

juices. Then at the end of day 9, I am to drink 1 cup of olive oil and

1 cup of lemon juice mixed together. My question is, is it okay to

drink milk on days 8 and 9? I feel I can handle no food easier if I can

drink milk. Thanks.

I think you'd be better off drinking juices on days 8 and 9. If you

have a juicer, you could make fresh veggie juices, or you could buy

ready made juices. If you drink milk at all, it should be skim milk.

You might find that you do fine with only water after the limited diet

the first 7 days.

My question is, is it okay to

Thanks. I like grapefruit juice but I'm not supposed to use it due to a

heart pill I take daily. I might risk it on the final day of the purge.

So are you saying that the grapefruit juice works as well as lemon juice?
