If it has a hard coating, then definitely you should take it orally. If the tablet is 'soft' then usually, you can take it sublingually. The manufacturers of Armour say that it was not particularly designed to be taken sublingually, but it definitely works better as it is absorbed through the tiny capillaries under the tongue and goes direct to your liver -bypassing the stomach, where, it is said, up to 45% potency can be lost.
