Guest guest
I'm amazed by some of the things I've been reading lately. Looks like it is the same old, same old. Why is it that none of our symptoms alter, however when the TSH is high (ie out of 'reference range') we are hypothyroid and when the TSH is 'within reference range', it couldn't possibly be our thyroid. Funny thing is that the only thing that has changed is the TSH - not our symptoms and nothing else! Thank goodness my doctor doesn't think this way! Guest guest
TSH changes can drag behind hypothyroid symptoms and signs by weeks, months, and, sadly, even years. This is fact - but doctors don't know this. Luv - Sheila I'm amazed by some of the things I've been reading lately. Looks like it is the same old, same old. Guest guest
TSH is proinflammatory too, mine goes high a lot and my C reactive plasma proteins are hi and my ALT is also high, all indicative of inflamation. However they STILL do not associate any of these things with my thyroid disease and do not endaevor to supress my TSH. Ah well, we learn, they learn. lotsa luv Dawnx
