Guest guest
I have just joined your group, am not new to thyroid/adrenal problems but new to the Iodine. I live in a very small town in Northern NSW (Australia) which has only one pharmacy, when I went there for the iodine to do the skin test was told that they can't sell it anymore. Had to resort to the only Iodine in the house which was Betadine (10% W/V Povine iodine equivalent to 1%W/V available Iodine), so hope that this one was okay. I did the test which lightened in 4 hours but had completely disappeared by 9 hours. I have been able to purchase the Lugol's solution from a pharmacy out of town and I aim to start today to take 1 drop which I will increase to 2 drops in the next few days if no side effects. Do know that I have adrenal/thyroid problems but can't get help with treatment because my TSH levels are always "within normal" last test they were 1.2. I am trying to find an alternate Doctor who will help me treat myself. Judy (ausiejude)
