Hi and thank you! I've just come back from having my hair cut and the stylist reminded me last time I saw her I had just been to the doctor for diagnosis, I remember I was so tired I nearly fell asleep while she was cutting my hair and had to go home and sleep for 3 hour but now I feel great! But while I was talking the woman next to me said she'd just had her thyroid test back and been told it's 'normal' but then she described her symptoms, all of which we are intimately familiar with but also the woman has a clear goitre! It was really quite large but her gp says she is fine. She said she has had this since the birth of her rdaughter 18 years ago and saw a locum who said her doctor would prescribe Thyroxine but when she saw her oen docotor he said she was fine. I've given her the address of this group and website and the name of the endo that was recommended near to us. This group just goes on and on helping.
