Again, magnesium deficiency causes this and PMS. It causes 22 known

conditions. The reason why on the periods is that magnesium controls all your

hormonal function, every bit of it.

This is on Dr. Carolyn Dean's website:

19. Obstetrics and Gynecology- Mg prevents Premenstrual Syndrome;

prevents dysmenorrhea (cramping pain during menses); is important in the

treatment of infertility; and alleviates premature contractions, preeclampsia,
