Guest guest
I got curious after reading some of the below because I thought I remembered that this group is for people who are doing everything they can to save their gallbladders, not for those wishing to have surgery or those who have had surgery. So I went to the home page to check again. There must be groups for people to join who have had surgery or are contemplating it that might be a better source of information for people concerned with surgery. This is what the first part of our home page says: Amber Description Liver cleanse - Gallbladder cleanse - Liver flush - NO surgery, Gallstones cleanse instead of surgery.' Support e-group! Cleanse Liver and the Gall bladder, flush gallstones! We are people sharing information on cleansing gall stones from the Liver and the Gallbladder. >>>I am wondering why you are even posting here. Sounds like you have made up your mind and trying to get the people here to agree with you, to m ake yourself feel better about your decision. The people here want to get better, but not by losing body parts.<<< I think people come here because they want advice, they have questions and they don't know who else to turn to. You would think a gallbladder group would be where to go to get questions answered, not to be attacked. The group is for gallstones, it is not called " only post here if you are against gallbladder removal " . .
Guest guest
My thought was that someone bent on having surgery might be better served to find a group dedicated to people who have had surgery or are contemplating surgery. She might be able to get better answers from various people who have already gone through it. I haven't checked, but surely there must be such a group Hi, Amber: I've been a part of this group for many years. I haven't had much time to keep up with anything lately because of heavy workload, though. But I stayed on after my GB surgery because I thought that I might could help someone to save their GBs if at all possible. And regardless of whether a person has a GB or not, if that person still eats crap food, they will still have problems after losing it. A person can still have stones, but they're liver stones. I remember after I first joined this group years ago, there was a lady from the U.K. who had her GB removed. Several months afterward she started again having GB attacks because she had liver stones. I felt sorry for her because she was still going through the same pain. Susie ************************************** See what's free at http://www.aol.com. Guest guest
Still, people come here for advice because they don't know where else to turn. I stay on, even though I've had surgery, because I still like getting information on doing things naturally. You can look back at my messages, from the beginning of 2005 - I came here to help keep my gallbladder. It just didn't work for me because of the pregnancy. Like I said before we need to be gracious adults to people when they come here and not act like children with the I told you so's. Blessings. -----Original Message----- From: gallstones [mailto:gallstones ] On Behalf Of Amber Sent: Monday, June 18, 2007 11:03 PM gallstones Subject: Re: People who had surgery/purpose of this group I got curious after reading some of the below because I thought I remembered that this group is for people who are doing everything they can to save their gallbladders, not for those wishing to have surgery or those who have had surgery. Guest guest
I had a hard time finding gallbladders groups when I looked BUT I do like the way you worded this. Not that I'm the editor here or anything. It was much nicer though. If people do find this group let's share what we know about cleanses, let's educate in a grown up way. We may not have anything to share about surgery, or we might, but we sure can provide links to cleanses and beneficial herbs and foods. We can recommend diet changes, etc. When I came her I don't believe I knew anything about cleanses??? I'm not sure if I did or not, but I did want to do whatever I could to keep my gallbladder. That's because I'm always into the more natural approach. Some people may not know anything more than surgery and DR's, so we can share our knowledge with them. It may help them in a way we never imagined. Some people just aren't brought up to do all these things like cleanses, so let's educate them not belittle them. Everyone here is full of great information, so I know it won't be difficult. Guest guest
I have read that this is possible. I can't imagine how upset a person would be after having surgery only to end up with the same problems and pain. That would be just terrible. Amber I remember after I first joined this group years ago, there was a lady from the U.K. who had her GB removed. Several months afterward she started again having GB attacks because she had liver stones. I felt sorry for her because she was still going through the same pain. Susie . Guest guest
Oh my goodness. Let's just hope she dropped out and that nothing happened to her. Amber Yes, I know. At first she didn't know what was happening to her. And you know what, I have never seen her on here again. Either she just quit the group or something happened to her. Guest guest
Most people do only the docs say it is not possible so then the person suffers in silence because they can't find the answer.
