Guest guest
This is what I did for a 9 day flush: The first purge I did was quite involved but it really started the process of my passing stones: Take 3 Lecithin, 3 B-Complex, 3 Hydrangea and 3 BLG-X with each meal. Available at health food stores. Take 2-4 Cascara Sagrada at night to keep bowels clean. Every A.M. and every P.M. take 2 T olive oil mixed with 2 T fresh squeezed lemon juice. 1 tsp. apple cider vinegar in a glass of water or V-8 juice helps to soften stones. Start: Every A.M., noon and P.M. take the above recipe (olive oil/lemon) for 1 week. Plan the next 2 days to be home. Day 7 start eating light foods only. e.g. applesauce, figs, pears, drinking apple and other juices, V-8 (in glass bottles not cans). Keep up the olive oil and lemon juice. Days 8 and 9 NO FOOD. Juices only. Apple, V-8, olive and lemon. Drink up to 1 gallon of juices a day. End of the 9th day about 5:00 p.m. drink 1 cup olive oil mixed with 1 cup fresh lemon juice. Immediately go to bed and lay still, on your right side and WAIT. Before too many hours, the stones will start to come out. If you wish to save them, use rubber gloves and place stones in a strainer, rinse and put in a container and freeze them. (I did not start passing stones until the following morning.) Guest guest
Absolutely, there is a good chance of the stones getting stuck. Stones are made up of many different consistencies. Some are very hard, and some are like sand. The common bile duct is very small, and stones can easily get stuck. If they do get stuck, this blocks the liver, and all digestion stops, can go into major liver and pancreas problems. I had my gall bladder out 5 days ago, and am so sorry that I waited so long. It was done labriscopily, even though I had two stones that were considered very large, infected, and inflamed. I did have to stay one night in the hospital because they found an extra bile duct between the liver and gall bladder and they wanted to make sure that it was clipped successfully. My doctor sees this once a year. I would highly recommend going for the surgery. I had pain for two days, and feel so much better than I have in many years. I also had considered the flush, but thought twice. Good luck to you. a
Guest guest
The purpose of the flush is to soften stones so that they can pass. Do you take Psyllium for your constipation? Also a good product from health food stores is LBS II, (Lower bowel stimulant). Works great. Bottle says to take 4. I take one on the very rare occasions it might be necessary. Guest guest
I had a GB attack over a year ago and studied about it. Learned that the GB serves a purpose and wanted to do everything I could to save mine. People who have surgery end up with bile dripping the rest of the lives. I'd recommend doing a flush before just opting for surgery. Once it's gone, you can't go back. I did 3 flushes and still have my GB. Have not had any more pain. Amber I would highly recommend going for the surgery. I had pain for two days, and feel so much better than I have in many years. I also had considered the flush, but thought twice. Guest guest
Glad it worked for you. Unfortunately, my GB was dead, and blocked that it was not functioning. You do not know this until you get into surgery.

Guest guest
I suggest you purchase www.gallcleanse.com and do it more slowly and gently.. this way no chance of stones getting stuck anywhere, a couple of us in the group including myself are using this product, I have a lot of congestion and pain in liver and gallbladder in the past..no problems using this product and have a sensitive system.. In my opinion this is far safer and gentler on the system and a very welcome alternative to the traditional olive oil, lemon, etc. anne
Guest guest
There is not a good chance that they will get stuck. In fact, there is a slim chance. If they do, go straight to the hospital and have your gallbladder removed. Until then do everything you can to retain a very important organ. Glad to hear you are feeling better a, but the game is not just about comfort but also about quality of life after. Having your gallbladder removed is the easy, convenient, comfortable, immediate relief option. If this is the only criteria, then by all means have it removed. The lack of function and more importantly the lack of lifestyle changes from those that got you there in the first place may be of import too. -Dave ----- Original Message ----- From: a Stavole<mailto:rstavole@...> gallstones <mailto:gallstones > Sent: Sunday, April 15, 2007 2:34 PM Subject: Re: Re: 9 day flush Absolutely, there is a good chance of the stones getting stuck. Guest guest
dave & all thank you so much for all of your input i was diagnosed 6 years ago with gallstones and managed quite well for 4-5 of those years i read and did everything besides a flush (because i was afraid), changed diet, did yoga for stress, did castor oil packs, these helped alot, drank lost of organic apple juice & took milk thistle i was basically pain free since then i started eating a high fat diet and started eating alot of meat again and have a ton of stress even when i have pain tho i get thru it, so it is def not about the quickest method towards comfort and reilief for me i have a high tolerance for pain and don't want to risk endangering myself more if it should become infected and burst or block ducts i just want my body to work efficiently and i know with stones it is not i cannot figure out if is my gallbladder affecting my severe lack of motility ( i don't beleive it is because i have had it all my life) it seems that when i am constipated is more so when i have tenderness in my gall bladder it is terrible that NO doctors will suggest alternatives i asked about sound waves to shatter them i even asked if they would go in and remove just the stones and sew my gall bladder back up i think my doctor thougth i was looney! i don't know why i am so afraid to flush, maybe has something to do with " holding on to stuff " which is part of my emotional crap probably contributes to having these health isuues to start with i have heard alot of about emotional healing and bowel cleansing also will try cholonics to address the bowel issue and see if that helps fiber and diet DO NOT help me in that area
Guest guest
Sounds like you are doing this to yourself. What's with the change in diet to a lot of meat? Surely you know that meat isn't good for people with GB problems. No reason to be afraid of a flush. There are many choices of flushes, they are not painful and help to ensure that you can keep your GB and not have to face surgery and a lifetime of the results of not having a GB. Amber i read and did everything besides a flush (because i was afraid), ...since then i started eating a high fat diet and started eating alot of meat again and have a ton of stress ...i don't know why i am so afraid to flush
Guest guest
Hello I read your post if I may offer a few suggestions re: your lack of motility and/or enough fluid to prevent constipation. I take 2 tbls of organic flax seeds ground in a glass of 8 oz of h2o every morning-this will help with constipation and chlorestrol too. I do the castor oil for my liver cleanse since I did lose my gall bladder 10 years ago- I do feel better when I use castor oil. Medications can cause many complications in our gut-I would look there too. If you drink coffee (as coffee is a dieurtic-it speeds up motility before your body has an opportunity to absorb nutrients) or eat chocolate reduce it greatly just to see if it helps you. Drink 6-8 glasses of warm water and herbal tea (green) throughout the day-no soft drinks-too many chemicals, try natural fruit juices and fresh fruit and veggies too. Emotional stuff is also where it manifest itself in our gut-the nerve pathways from the brain and our heart, too Hope this helped. ~ melbone90 <r9623@...> wrote: dave & all thank you so much for all of your input i was diagnosed 6 years ago with gallstones and managed quite well for 4-5 of those years i read and did everything besides a flush (because i was afraid), changed diet, did yoga for stress, did castor oil packs, these helped alot, drank lost of organic apple juice & took milk thistle i was basically pain free since then i started eating a high fat diet and started eating alot of meat again and have a ton of stress even when i have pain tho i get thru it, so it is def not about the quickest method towards comfort and reilief for me i have a high tolerance for pain and don't want to risk endangering myself more if it should become infected and burst or block ducts i just want my body to work efficiently and i know with stones it is not i cannot figure out if is my gallbladder affecting my severe lack of motility ( i don't beleive it is because i have had it all my life) it seems that when i am constipated is more so when i have tenderness in my gall bladder it is terrible that NO doctors will suggest alternatives i asked about sound waves to shatter them i even asked if they would go in and remove just the stones and sew my gall bladder back up i think my doctor thougth i was looney! i don't know why i am so afraid to flush, maybe has something to do with " holding on to stuff " which is part of my emotional crap probably contributes to having these health isuues to start with i have heard alot of about emotional healing and bowel cleansing also will try cholonics to address the bowel issue and see if that helps fiber and diet DO NOT help me in that area --------------------------------- Ahhh...imagining that irresistible " new car " smell? Guest guest
Dear Anne: I am thinking of sending some of the Gallcleanse to a friend who appears to have a problem and have been waiting for your daily reports after you have been using the product. Did you have a lab report on the stones that you had before beginning the treatment? What is the cost of the test for stones? Do the stones affect the bladder by putting any extra pressure there? Guest guest
Dear Abendot no I did not have a lab report on stones..I went on the pain and symptoms I have had over a long period of time.. I think because the gallcleanse is a daily application, progress may be difficult to note on a daily basis, but by the end of say 3 months , I hope to be able to say that I can honestly note improvements all round. I do find that I can feel a little ropey some days, and this is possibly just extra toxins being around my body temporarily as the bile clumps get broken up and become more liquidy..just my guessing on this. anne from UK Dissolve Cataracts Naturally www.ethos-success.com DEEP SEA HEALING www.ethosmarine4health.com

Guest guest
I had two huge gall stones get stuck in the central bile duct of my liver during my first flush. I tlook an extra dose of epsom salts and within 10 minutes the pain was completely gone (and boy was it painful - I have never experienced so much pain.) AND the two huge gall sontes emerged within 30 minutes!! Trust epsom salts in water - this dilates the bile ducts very well when stones get stuck - NO SURGERY NEEDED Fulford <clfulford@...> wrote: Yes - there is a chance. http://www.drbob4health.com/ Read the first few paragraphs on his liver flush link. Guest guest
Just for a frame of reference, I passed one that was 3/4 of an inch. The flush softens them so that they can pass. Guest guest
Yes, I absolutely realize that. I just wanted to let you know that stones larger than the duct can pass in a flush because the flush softens the stones. As far as " breaking it up " I really don't know what to advise there. Do you have an N.D. you could discuss this with? My stones were/are cholesterol stones. I think most stones are. Amber Thanks Amber, but this is twice that diameter, and I don't know what type it is.
