help! in the middle of an attack?

Hello all,

Any advice on how to make it through a gallstone attack? I have been

in pain for 6 hours and didn't sleep at all. The pain is getting less

as time goes on but it is still very painful.

I am having a hard time keeping anything in my system.

I didn't know what was going on when I had my first and only GB attack March 12,

2006, so I ended up in ER on IV. The IV ended up blowing a vein and now it

can't be used for blood tests any more. Bummer. I had many, many tests.

Results said I had " innumerable stones. " Dr. wanted me to have surgery but I

decided to go home and do some research first. After 3 GB flushes, I still have

my GB. If your pain is subsiding, that sounds like good news to me. Have you

had attacks before? Have you done any purges? I think I've read that the pain

does subside after awhile. When you are up to it, you might consider doing a

purge.
