They have just interviewed an ex model who had to give up because she has a "mysterious" illness which confounds all the doctors she has been to. She is going to see GMTV's resident doctor and they have asked if any doctors are watching to phone in with ideas as to what it could be. Symptoms bloating stomach and ankles or calves (cant remember which) - sick after a few hours of a meal, and extreme exhaustion and as she listed symptoms I was thinking hypo - go and see Dr.Skinner. Obviously the doctors have taken TSH and it is within normal level. She has not been able to work (because of her being bloated and being a model and fatigue) and has had to sell things just to keep paying the mortgage. I do not know enough or confident enough to phone but they have given a phone number to ring with any suggestions. That is 0870 333 0550.
