Guest guest
Hi Amber, The coating on the tongue happens when one is full of toxins. It is really evident during the master cleanse while in full fast mode, during which the toxins are circulating around in the blood and are needing to be evacuated. During fasting it may clear up in a 10-15 days or longer depending on the condition and health of the person. There are websites that show how the tongue shows the health and what parts of the body they pertain to. http://beyondwellbeing.com/herbs/tongue-diagnosis.shtml http://www.integratedhealthpractice.com/tonguediagnosis.asp http://altmedicine.about.com/library/weekly/bl_TongueDiagnosis.htm All basically saying the same thing. Check them out and see if it helps you figure what is happening. G Murray Amber wrote: > I haven't seen this discussed here before and don't know if anyone > else has this problem. Guest guest
Wow, thank you for those links. I've done some searching, too, but never came up with such good pictures. Guest guest
I can believe that. I had a major pesticide poisoning in Feb. 2003 and it has affected my heart, lungs and bones. I did major detoxing at that time. Even had to move out of my house for awhile. I have lost half my lung function because of it and the Dr. wanted me on oxygen 24/7. I have refused to do that. I used to cough, gag, choke and vomit every day. After 4 years of it, I'm finally over that. I do still get out of breath at times. I believe my GB attack was also linked to the pesticides. I'm tremendously better now, finally. Except for the tongue problem. I'm taking a variety of antifungals and probiotics. Anyway I'll hang in there and hope it eventually gets better, too. (Oops, I noticed this was still in Draft and I had not actually sent it. So it's out of order.) Amber Hi Amber, The coating on the tongue happens when one is full of toxins. G Murray . Guest guest
WOW! Tongue biopsy to determine coating on the tongue. Their bag of tricks is almost empty. glad to hear you declined. There are plenty of books on Chinese tongue diagnosis. Extremely accurate. If you have a good TCM practitioner in your area they will be able to tell you everything immediately. -D
Guest guest
I live in a very small town in a rural area. I don't even know what a TCM practitioner is. The tongue is still coated and got worse when I started taking more antifungals. Evidently something inside my body is wanting to get out. No biopsy for me. I'll see if I can find anything on Chinese tongue diagnosis. Thanks. Amber WOW! Tongue biopsy to determine coating on the tongue. Their bag of tricks is almost empty. glad to hear you declined. Guest guest
Wow, I've never heard of this before. Thank you so much. I'll have to really study that info. Amber Amber, Have you tried Oil Swishing to clean the tongue off? http://www.loaves-n-fishes.com/oilswish.htm I have done this for years and find it very helpful. When I first started I did use the Sunflower Oil. I now use Caster Oil and find it works faster and pulls more toxins. I wouldn't recommend Caster Oil to start with due to taste and texture. The Sunflower Oil is a very light textured Oil with a very light taste. In my opinion, this is why it is recommended. Just an idea that might help you detox. Guest guest
I have tried Olive Oil and it just tastes too bad and burns the tongue too much to leave it in the mouth long enough to work. Be sure your oil is cold pressed whichever you choose to use. Guest guest
Thanks for that info. I'll just wait until I got to town again and will buy the proper oil. By the way, I love your name and totally believe in it. Amber I have tried Olive Oil and it just tastes too bad and burns the tongue too much to leave it in the mouth long enough to work.
