Dear and ,

I liked the link to the site you provided, , it was very

balanced. I flushed my

gallbladder for many years, and then after about 20 or so years of

keeping my

gallbladder, finally had to have it removed. When it was removed, the

doctor told

me it was barely recognizable as a gallbladder at all. I do not regret

having it

removed, and have not had any new digestive problems. I do take digestive

enzymes, just as I did when I had the gallbladder, and think it isn't

such a bad idea

to do liver cleanses even if you don't have a gallbladder. I can eat

eggs now, which

is wonderful...I love them and could never eat them with the

gallbladder. It took

about a year to work up to the point of being able to eat them

again...you have to

gradually add in the foods you couldn't eat with the gallbladder. Your

body lets

you know that. I still, just because it is wise, do not eat fatty

meats, etc., but get

my fats from good oils, like olive oil, grape seed oil, lecithin, flax

seed oil, cod

liver oil, etc.

I don't regret the years of doing the flushes, and I don't regret having

the gallbladder

removed :-)
