Well, you've had about as much stress as anyone could have in a couple of days.

Good grief.  My prayers are with you and yours.

No matter what a couple people say on another group, stress DOES affect your

band.  Well, it affects your whole body and when your stomach gets " tied up in

knots " (which happens whether banded or not) it is going to affect the stoma

(though of course the band itself doesn't change...plastic doesn't respond to

emotions).

I think I just posted about the same thing happening to me....when in 06 my

brother got sick and died,  and a few months later my mother had her final

failing and died.  Four trips to Chicago for a week or more each, one trip to

California for several days (to inter my mother's ashes).  I had vast numbers of

liquid calories, since that, and some softs late in the day, were all I could

get down.  So I gained.

You MUST take it easy on yourself, do what you can foodwise and otherwise, and

be willing to accept that when things get rotten, your eating and weight may get

rotten too.  The best thing is that the band will still be there and it'll work

still, or again, when the right time comes.  Really, be gentle on yourself and

those around you, to the best of your ability.

prayers and best wishes, and let us know how everything goes.

I haven;t had a fill since October 07. Is this normal?

Is this feeling of pain from all the stress I'm going through now?

My nerves are so tattered that I prematurely sent my post without finishing

it now I don't remember what else I wanted to say. Oh well I hope Y'all had a

much better day than I did.
