Guest guest
Well, lots say that, but when asked WHY they have no reason. Drinking before you eat will NOT wash anything through, as the water goes right through. Think of your stoma as a funnel. The idea is to put some food in it, which won't go right through, right? Putting water in it will help to wash it through. But putting water in BEFORE you put the food in will have no effect, as the water is gone through in a matter of seconds. I'm a firm believer in doing what your doctor says, and no harm in what he says, but it is just plain silly.
