Guest guest
I've read that we actually need more magnesium than calcium and most multis have the combo wrong. Also that we should take magnesium to " bowel tolerance " and then back down some. So I'm gathering if a person takes too much magnesium, they'll be spending extra time in the bathroom. That should tell a person how much they can take. I've never read about any dependency on it. Amber i think you can be getting too much magnesium right, like there has to be a limit. also i heard your bowel movements can become dependent on it... start . Guest guest
Magnesium is found in a 1:2 ratio with calcium in the body the actual need of magnesium is higher because of the functions, excretions, etc. The bowel does not become dependent on it. you can become temporarily dependent on laxative herbs containing the anthroquinones but you will balance back out within a week or so of stopping them if you do. Loose stool is not much of a meter of how much magnesium you need but if your transit time increases you will just be dumping it out. All green vegetables contain it. That is why it is the number one mineral deficiency in the country. -Dave ----- Original Message ----- From: Amber <mailto:amber@...> gallstones <mailto:gallstones > Sent: Monday, June 11, 2007 5:41 AM Subject: Maagnesium I've read that we actually need more magnesium than calcium and most multis have the combo wrong.
