Guest guest
I just found this group a few minutes ago and haven't had a chance to review messages yet. I had my first and only gallbladder attack last March 12. Was in the hospital over night and had all kinds of tests that showed I had innumerable stones. My doctor wanted me to have surgery but I refused because I wanted to study this situation first. Since then, I have done 3 flushes and started passing stones every day for many months. Now I only pass them a few times a week. However, I had another sonogram and it shows that I still am loaded with stones. This puzzles me as I don't know how I could have passed so many and still have so many. I have not been in any pain since the day of the attack. My confusion now rests in what to eat. I've read that I should not eat meat or eggs, no fried foods, but I'm also reading that I should not eat wheat or corn products. So what does that leave - fruits and vegetables? Is there a gallbladder diet published anywhere? Thanks for any information. (Oh, I'm a 68 year old female if that makes any difference.) Another question is that the stones I've been passing are usually yellow in color with white speckles. A few have been green. Most have been the size of hominy and corn but a few were 1/2 inch long and two were 3/4 inch long. My doctor said they were not stones, but my N.D. says they are. Now I'm really confused.
