adrenal salivary test - time to wait

I emailed Genova Diagnostics lab (was Great Smokies) to see how long they said to be off of hc before taking the adrenal salivary test to get a meaningful result - this is their response:

Dear ,Long term steriod use can influence the above test, so would therefore need to be stopped to gauge your bodies natural response to stress.
