Guest guest
I fixed some pancakes (from scratch) and shortly after consuming them realized what a mistake I had made. The past couple of nights, I'd noticed a little stomach ache after eating and didn't think anything of it. But this " ache " grew quickly. Within a half hour, I was ready to dial 911. But I had to take the kids to swim practice and figured I'd live. I brought the little ones back home and left my stepdaughter to practice and had my husband come home and take me to the hospital. (Luckily, we are in a small town where the pool is within walking distance and the hospital is maybe 2 miles away). My husband happened to be working at the hospital (on their computer system) and just after I instructed my 6 year old to call 911 if I passed out, he walked in the door. I've never known the comfort of morphine like I knew it today. I thought I was going to die until they finally got it into me. I have slept most of the day. Oddly enough, I did not vomit until we had left the hospital, and then again a number of hours later before I ate. I had some organic tomato soup which has not caused any problems at all. My previous gall bladder attacks were some indigestion and pain in my upper back. This totally blew any of that away. The past two months I had done well, but was eating very healthy. Slowly, my diet grew less and less healthy, but I still consumed apple juice daily, started magnesium last week, and used lots of olive oil. I guess it's not enough. (It doesn't help that my stepdaughter's mom has us stressed out and that I am having my period- that seems to do it for me). Any suggestions on what to do now? Do you think I passed a stone? Have a blessed day! Evie Maddox
