Guest guest
you are not going to be able to identify specifically which food did it. It might not have been food at all. It could be just that your body had this issue. So do not play total detectiveon this. ;0) Jay Amber <amber@...> wrote: I woke up in the middle of the night last night with a slight discomfort in my gallbladder area. I'm feeling almost normal today, but I wondered what had caused the problem. I went back over all I had eaten and I think I figured it out. I had had a piece of angle food cake. I have read that people with GB problems should not eat red meat or eggs. It never dawned on me that angle food cake is mostly eggs. So it might be a good idea for people on this list to watch out for angle food cake. By the way, A-F Betafood, available through Standard Process Labs, is something I plan to stay on the rest of my life. Dr. Bruce West wrote about it in one of his health newsletters. I've had a subscription for almost 15 years and save them all. He wrote about a surgeon who stopped doing 95% of his gallbladder surgeries after putting people on A-F Betafood. I would think mostly of the sugar aspect in the cake or frosting which in turn causes bloating from gases coming from bacteria they love sugar why not, we do too. Using a probiotic and lactobacillus (?) can keep the healthy bacteria or normal flora in your gut happy. That may have caused epi-gastric discomfort like acid reflux of sorts while in a prone position. Many proprietary products sold will have these in knowing how beneficial they really. I've been reading more about the liver and gallbladder and how these two work in tandum for distribution of all our nutritents we digest. Also the adrenal gland and our hormones-they are so crucial in homostasis. Hope this helps. ~Sabina > >
Guest guest
Thanks for your message. I have probiotics and need to remember to take them. I'm doing well today. The cake had no frosting, but I don't think I'll eat the rest of it.
