Guest guest
Just a reminder about the newer adult vacccines we need, according to age. we need to ASK our family docs about them, as they often forget : 1. tetanus/diptheria/whooping cough booster (Many adults are not sufficiently protected any longer from whooping cough and contract it) 2. Flu shot, annually - if over 50 or with an chronic illness or in contact with kids (OR simply wants it, and I sure do) 3. peumonia - 65 and over, booster every 5-10 yrs 4. Shingles - 65 and over - a flareup of childhood chikenpox that can cause VERY painful nerve damage lasting months/yrs 5. MMR (Measles/mumps/rubella) booster if you are 19-49 More info in this short news video: (cut and paste entire link) http://cosmos.bcst./up/player/popup/? rn=3906861 & cl=8810114 & ch=4226723 & src=news sandy r
