Guest guest
I'm glad someone finally said this about a stuck stone. Doctors have told me that a stuck stone can inflame your gallbladder and even prove fatal in the sense that your gallbladder can burst. I wouldn't be surprised if these are indeed fear tactics from the medical community. But of course if a professional doctor is telling me this, I feel I should be careful. Are you then telling me that all this is bunk, Liz? Is there anyone out there who have indeed had a serious complication from a stuck stone? If so, I urge you to please tell us. --- Barbara Leppky <bleppky@...> wrote: > Same procedure we followed when hubby had abdominal > pain. REPEAT flush > IMMEDIATELY!! Worked for us as well. Guest guest
I can only speak for our (myself and hubby) experience. The first 2 flushes my husband tried resulted in NO stones being eliminated. The very first flush resulted in nothing. The second, about a week later, resulted in abdominal pain. Knowing this could very easily be the result of " a " stone or " many " stones having been dislodged from the liver and becoming " stuck " in the bile duct/s, we immediately did another flush. This resulted in the elimination of 100's (yes, hundreds) of stones, varying in size from pin, pea to huge lima bean size and even slightly larger. ----- Original Message ----- From: " Seoane " <robert_seoane@...> <gallstones > Sent: Wednesday, September 12, 2007 10:16 PM Subject: Re: Re: s Moritz protocal > > I'm glad someone finally said this about a stuck > stone. Guest guest
While I am in agreement with Liz, a clarification of anatomy is in order. The Liver is not directly connected to the gallbladder. There is the common bile duct that basically (name is different at this geographical region but for the purposes of the picture best to use the same name) exits the liver. All bile is produced in the liver. Lower down the gallbladder duct enters the common bile duct. When bile is secreted by the liver, a portion travels up the gallbladder duct into the gallbladder where it is concentrated by the removal of water. When you eat a fat the gallbladder squeezes out this concentrated bile for the emulsification of fats. Your liver produces and hopefully secretes about 2 liters of bile per day for a myriad of reasons. If one has liver stones (and yes, you can have liver stones) they will hopefully and almost surely travel the full length of the bile duct into the duodenum without traveling back up into the gallbladder. They sure as (pardon my French) hell, can get stuck anywhere along the way. For anyone who has ever taken a trip to the emergency ward for anything, taking Liz's suggestion here may save you far more pain and suffering than suffering " emergency room syndrome " . If it doesn't work you can always call 911 anytime you like. -Dave ----- Original Message ----- From: Liz Sapareto<mailto:lizsapar@...> gallstones <mailto:gallstones > Sent: Sunday, September 09, 2007 1:26 PM Subject: Re: Re: s Moritz protocal I don't know why you people are so terrified of a stone getting stuck???? Guest guest
Dave, What youy describe is just what I described - stones travel from the liver down the common bile duct (I just said 'bile duct') into the gall bladder which squeezes them out into the intestine and they travel down to the bowel for elimination. I'll bet the problem for some people with diseased and weak gall bladders is that the GB doesn't squeeze very efficiently. I am amuzed by people who say " oh I think I have a gall stone that is moving, causing me pain " - these people do not understand they are probably full of gall stones - not just " one " that is " moving " Dave Shelden <wholehealthawareness@...> wrote: While I am in agreement with Liz, a clarification of anatomy is in order. Guest guest
My response to Barbara, People frequently want to take the remote exception and generalize it to all situations. Faultly logic/thinking. Hey - some people (like, one in X million) have choked and died chewing and swallowing bubble gum, steak, what have you - does this mean we should all avoid bubble gum or steak or what have you because, hey you could choke and die!!!! I know so many many cases just like the ones below, and my own, what pain strikes during the flush - you know it's stuck stones competing for space trying to travel down the narrow bile ducts to the gall bladder - all you have to do and it works is dose yourself with the duct relaxing epsom salts and the pain will be GONE and the stones unstuck. No need to panic and rush to the E-Room Barbara Leppky <bleppky@...> wrote: I can only speak for our (myself and hubby) experience. Guest guest
Thanks for this information. Just so I know what to expect, would this dose of epsom salts in water normally cause a loose bowel movement soon after?
