Guest guest
I have never had any pain since the day of my one and only attack. The flushes were not painful. Just not pleasant having to drink olive oil and lemon juice, but certainly tolerable. I passed stones every day for over a year. I finally stopped passing any a month or so ago, but I know I'm still full of stones from the two ultrasounds I've had. I continue to limit meat and eggs in my diet, which means I eat more carbs and have gained 10 pounds since the attack. I've started to drink whey protein drinks to get more protein and, when our weather ever cools down, I'll get back to walking outside to lose those 10 pounds. I continue to take A-F Betafood from Standard Process Labs daily and plan to keep taking that. In this past year, I've had just a few times where I felt a slight tenderness in my GB area, but it didn't last long and never progressed to another attack. I doubt you need to worry about doing a flush. Please do everything you can to save your GB. Amber Amber, even though your ultrasound doesn't show changes, do you feel better now that you've done the three flushes? I have Lyme and want to do a flush, but want to stabilize my health a bit more before doing a flush. I worry that I will feel terribly sick or end up having to go to the ER after a flush. Still, I want to try to save my GB. Margh .
Guest guest
Perhaps you mean that you eat more grains? Veggies and fruits are carbs, and increasing those in your diet won't cause you to gain unnecessary weight. Do you mean that you are eating more breads? Have a blessed day! Guest guest
Yes, you are correct. I was eating more bread and cereals, etc. However, I also eat lots of veggies and fruit. I drink whole organic milk, because I like it. I had to limit meat and eggs after my GB attack. Amber Perhaps you mean that you eat more grains?
