Guest guest
Whilst traveling around this morning and pondering these messages concerning voluntary removal of the GB (on the heels of own recent attacks), a more practical approach to matters of the GB and problems associated therewith might be for the medical community to not be so swift to suggest removal of the GB and begin treating it. Needless to say, this result is unlikely given the state of medicine, its insurers and our fast-paced, quick result-oriented mentality in this country. ('Fix 'em and get 'em back working ASAP') The fact is, as many of us know or any anyone who has had GB problems and/or its removal can tell you: The problem isn't solved by removing the GB. So ,as said, my suggestion is for the medical community to start treating GB disease, to be innovative/creative and continue earlier pursuits of safe and effective means to access, crush and/or dilute stones so that they pass more easily;i.e., in combination with many of the therapies of this newsgroup and the Curezone, et al, regarding flushing and diet, etc. Wisdom from this group and the Curezone has help me immensely; however, in every individual's case, it's up to them to follow through and discipline themselves to the realities about what helps and hurts ailing their GB's. True, some GB problems are hereditary; but most, in my appraisal, are cultural/diet-related. And even for those with hereditary GB disease there's hope by controlling the chemistry that causes it. Slow down everyone. Let's be good to ourselves, tune-in to ourselves and we'll all be better-off physically and spiritually. One of my most respected contributors to this group is kind 'Wholehealth Dave'... and this is no promo, but listen to him for his gracious knowledge and offerings as they take into account the whole being, the big picture of things. And we'd all be further up the evolutionary scale to begin thinking/acting that wayl... Kind regards to all, Francis ************************************** See what's free at http://www.aol.com.
