I've done 3 purges and the first one was a 9 day one with the olive oil and

lemon juice. I've never done one with epsom salts. To help support the liver,

take the herb Milk Thistle. I also take A-F Betafood from Standard Process Labs

daily because that is supposed to help ensure a person will not have to lose

their GB. So far, it's worked well for me.

Hi,

I am new to this group and was wondering if anyone has a good simple

liver cleanse preferably without epsom salt.I tried it once before and

it burned so much I was bleeding. Is there a supplement you can take

regularly that would do a mild cleanse?I was also wondering what

citrus juices can be used and what the difference is between them.

Thank you,

.

In my opinion and experience, the gaall stone flush doesn't work well without

the epsom slats - nothing dilates the bile ducts like epsom salts. and you

should not have been bleeding from a proper dose of epsom salts diluted in water

- four cups of water and 3 tablespoons of epsom salts is sufficient.

Has anyone tried using Milk of Magnesia instead of epsom salts? This approach

is suggested in the IC Puzzle book by Amrit Willis.

I'm wondering if anyone has use the MoM and had any trouble with it. I feel

like I could tolerate drinking a bottle of MoM better than epsom salts.

I know that many of you are going to find this absurd,

but I actually found on the internet some information

saying that epsom salts can trigger cardiac arrest.

Thought you all might want to know this. Google it up.

I also found on the internet several websites calling

Dr. Hulda a quack.

You can also die from drinking too much water. It would take a God awful amount

to trigger an MI but possible. Disregard the scare tactic. Hulda

definitely has her naivety but in terms of the gallbladder stuff is very good.

Hi MIke,

I read your wife's story and I have done flushes before, one just this week.

How long ago did your wife do hers and has she gone back for an ultrasound to

verify if the 3 stone she had disappeared?

Thanks

This doesn't surprise me because any group of statisticians can take any figures

and manipulate them to come up with their desired results. I still say that

people need to do their own research and come up with what seems right for their

body. If something just doesn't sound right to you, don't do it.

thanks ...I agree with you about Hulda ...and I am very

much prejudiced against traditional medicine. I have read several of

her books and found that she just rambles alot in a conclusory

fashion without a lot of scientific support for her claims. We need

to be careful out there....Alternative medicine has the same

potential to cause harm as the conventionally trained and

surgery crowd. I think our best resource is other sick people!!

The only book I've read that has inspired me to eat

healthy is Dr. Cabot's " Liver Cleansing Diet " .

Although I don't make her recipes because I am not a

cook, I do eat the ingredients she recommends in my

own way and I feel a remarkable improvement. I feel

she is talking common sense.

I'm afraid you will ALWAYS find websites that will call true " healers "

EPSOM SALT WAS USED ON MY 4 WEEK OLD DAUGHTER UP UNTIL SHE DIED FROM CARDIAC

ARREST AT 6 1/2 WEEKS. I DECIDED TO USE IT AFTER A DOCTOR RECOMMENDED IT ON

HER HANDS. SHE WAS STARTING TO LOOSE HER FINGERNAILS. I SUGGESTED WE USE IT

ON HER WHOLE BODY. HE SAID THAT IF I TRY IT TO USE ONLY A SMALL AMOUNT. I

USED ONLY TWO TABLESPOONS FULL TO A QUARTER FULL WATER IN A GROWNUP BATHTUB.

WE WERE SO IMPRESSED WITH THE RESULTS.

Amber, think about it!! Her daughter had something VERY seriously wrong

with her. Her skin problems was something she and her doctor could do

something about. It's the SKIN's reaction to the ES bath/s that she was

impressed with. It's obvious to me that she EXPECTED her daughter to die,

but NOT because she was bathing her body in a Epsom Salt solution.

Huh! I was responding to someone else who was surprised at the word. Not

everyone on this list has English as a first language and I thought maybe she

had simply used an incorrect word. Geez, calm down.
