Guest guest
I want to thank you all for your responses to my introduction and questions. Here is what I know and where I am in my process of recovery; the gallbladder meridian is on one (or both?) of the cuspid teeth. These are on the top third from the center. Both of my cuspids had the crowns put on them (btw, the crowns included mercury, nickel, and zinc). This is one of the ways the ND (who I now know is a DO) knew it was the crowns that caused the problems. I also got samples of the crowns, metal, glue used, etc. and I had a very bad reaction to both the metal and the glue used. Regardless, of whether or not the crowns caused the gallbladder removal, I need to have them off. I am beginning to have an autoimmune response in the roof of my mouth, among the other issues mentioned in my last post. Here is my current predicament: I found a holistic dentist in Amarillo TX, Dr Jack Wong, (he was on the mercury free list that was posted here-thank you!). His first opening is not until feb. 13th, he will use all biocompatible material, etc.- and will take all the appropriate precautions when removing the crowns .He requires that you wear temporary crowns for 4-6 weeks for your body to heal--this is great health-wise, however, it is all of my front upper teeth that have the crowns on them-- (FYI, I did not have them put on for cosmetic reasons, but rather b/c my teeth were paper thin and chipping from very little enamel, all the result of an antibiotic I took when I was very young--thus, I had the crowns done to preserve my teeth--but it has turned into a cosmetic issue). I am a college professor and it is hard to speak with temps. in. I know that is probably the last thing I should be concerned with, but it is a concern. There is a regular dentist where I live who will take them off and immediately put new ones one. I can check the biocompatibility of the material he will use with the DO. He will take no precautions when removing them, other than a gasket....but he can remove them in 1 week. I do not know how important the removal of the metal is. My DO can give me some detox meds., treatments, etc.....but the reason I am in this situation of having bad crowns and no gallbladder is b/c of my making hasty decisions. Any advice on which route I should take would be greatly appreciated. I am sure I should probably go with the holistic dentist, but vanity is in the way. I think I need to be reminded that there is so much more to the process than that and wearing temp. crowns for 6 weeks is really not that big of a deal. As for my phantom'gallbladder' pain, my GP said it was most likely scar tissue.--which makes sense. It is a positional pain and I do have the tendency to form thick scars after surgeries. Does anyone know if there is a connection between gallbladder problems/liver/ scar tissue...just a thought. Also, does anyone know of any natural remedies for it? So my liver is being very taxed--no gallbladder and it is having to filter all the toxic metals from my crowns (and I also have 9 mercury amalgam fillings). I have read DR. Cabot's liver cleansing diet book and am following it, I a taking a super green (per advice here), LIV 52, and natural cellular defense. Any other suggestions for helping my liver? again, thank you, thank you, thank you for your responses to my initial introduction, I really appreciate the great advice and support!! -jonna
Guest guest
Thank you Dana. When you say it sounds like yeast overgrowth...does that mean that he has a yeast problem and it is being aggravated by the AFP Peptizyde? Is that why he starts to have issues when we get past 2/3rds of a capsule? If so, should we go back to 1/2 capsule at each of his (3) meals (haven't started enzymes with afternoon snack yet) and/or should we be doing something to fight the yeast at the same time? I have No-Fenol and also GSE but I haven't started that yet. I though the die off from that would be worse so I figured I'd wait 3 more weeks until he's on spring break from school. I am trying to go slowly and once we get to 1 full capsule of the AFP Peptizyde, then slowly add a probiotic. Actually I discovered last night that my baby sitter had been giving him the probiotic that we have in the fridge after dinner every night. (Nature's Plus Animal Parade Acidophi-kidz with Probiotics, FOS & Rhododendron) We had used that when we first started enzymes a few weeks ago but when he had his first very hyper day, I cut back on everything except Zyme Prime. She didn't realize that and has been giving him the probiotic all along. Last night he did not have one. The last 2 days he has been complaining of feeling very weird inside. He says it's hard to describe so he makes a gesture (not a stim) where both his hands are in front of him and he moves them very quickly towards himself so it looks like something is coming at him repeatedly. He says that's how it feels inside. Last night he said he couldn't watch TV because the people on TV were hard to focus on. He said his eyes felt weird too. Is that all from yeast? What should I do? I don't want to cause any suffering at all, but I do know that the AFP Peptizyde starts to help him with eye contact and seems to take him " out of his own world " too. So I am hoping that at some point we can get him to a full capsule of AFP Peptizide with each meal. If I should give him the No-Fenol and the Grapefruit Seed Extract...please let me know how much I should start with and if I should expect die off and what to do. Your experience, expertise and your time are much appreciated. Thank you. > > capsule of the AFP and so far we have noticed increased eye contact > one night :-) and a little > > extra stimming. I would go back to the previous dose. It may not be yeast, altho it does sound like it could be yeast. You can also add biotin, which will help control the yeast. >>She didn't realize that and has been giving him the probiotic all along. Last > night he did not have one. Start with the probiotic, maybe add some biotin [400mcg to start]. See if that is enough. Dana
Guest guest
Thanks again Dana. Do I give the Biotin at the same time as the Probiotic? That would be 1 hour after he takes his dinner enzymes. Also, I just bought Culturelle. I understand that is highly effective. Would you recommend the Culturelle instead of the kids probiotic we had been using? Also, do I need to get Culturelle For Kids? I couldn't find that at Whole Foods. I'm hoping the regular Cultureele is okay. My son is 11 but very small (50 pounds) for his age. Your help is so appreciated! I am going to go to Whole Foods today and get the Biotin! > > > > Thank you Dana.
