Interesting comment about your dad - check out what they say about heart and

fats and cholesterol on that site coconut-info.com, certainly rings true to

me, people dropping all over world on these new statins......

PS Sam hates the taste, got away a while by using like butter on toast, so I

plop it in the bath, mix with melted epsom salts or just put it on him 'raw'

Hi Moria

Like everything opinion is divided, I'd like to think a little goes in :)

When we first tried CLO years ago, no matter what I tried, it came back out,

orally that is, Willis Langford

I think advised to me try topical application, I was told to use same dose as

oral, a teaspoon of CLO goes along way by smell..........I used to dot

lavender essential oil on the back of his clothes so the teachers would still

give him a hug :) Good quality EPO straight on the skin is very soothing. We

are doing better now at getting it in, its the texture not the taste he

objects to (I finally worked out), using Eye Q and putting it in his juice,

down it goes. Its flavoured with natural lemon oil so thats working at the

moment, he loves the Coromega but all those things to make it taste nice

worry me, so we mix and match. Someday soon I might even get to loading doses

:)

You can get it here also :

Better tasting product if you use it for cooking and consumption.

This product is less processed and not heated.

Thanks Mandi..

I just bought it last week and after seeing your post I was reminded of the fact

I hadn't used it yet.

So out it came. My daughter likes it (Tastes just like Bounty, she said. ) and

my Jack Russel is still slappig her lips. My daughter won't try out anything

unless Moppet ( the Jack ) tries it first!!

Shows how brainwashed one can be. Although I carefully looked into fatty acids,

I had a mental block about anything to do with coconut as my father who is a

cardiac patient was told it is " lethal and to give it a wide berth.

are you saying that EFA's are absorbed transdermally?

I'm not sure if I'm following this at all, but really

would appreciate knowing this if so--- I'm taking

" lots o pills " [and big ones] to get in the EFA's.

thanks,

Moria

Do not use either RBD (refined, bleached, deodorized) or Cosmetic Grade

coconut oils.

Use Virgin Coconut Oil ONLY, and cook with it also.

Moria,

I’m not Mandi obviously, but can you not tolerate taking the oil by the

tbl.

Udo’s and Enzyme Therapy’s “Doctors Choice”, both make very

comprehensive EFA’s products.

I feel “Doctors Choice” is more complete, but a lot of folks like Udo’s

as well.

http://www.curezone.com/foods/udoschoice.asp - for Udo’s choice

perfected 3,6,9 blend

http://www.totaldiscountvitamins.com/Merchant/nwopsframe.htm - for

“Doctors Choice” Flax Oil –fortified with pumpkin and Borage oil. I know

you are saying, oh just borage oil but the ingredients are:

per tbl.

Omega 3 (LNA) 5,250mg

Omega 6 (LA) 2,650mg

Omega 9 (OLEIC) 2,600mg

Gamma-Linolenic Acid (GLA) 325mg

It really doesn’t have a bad taste, kind of neutral.

I put flaxseed oil on salads usually--- and have been swallowing

fish oil capsules. Good point though--- I could experiment a

bit with whether there are types I can just drink straight.

I'll try it....

borage flowers are very nice to eat.

thanks.

In the research as an antimicrobial, 3.5 T included into daily meals seems to do the trick. See www.tropicaltraditions.com.

Remember that virgin coconut oil is a dietary fat/oil like olive oil and peanut oil. Great for the skin, too.

Capital "T" stands for tablespoons.

Small 't' stands for teaspoons.

Go to www.tropicaltraditions.com for tons of information on coconut oil.

Coconut oil is a vegetable fat/oil and is OK to eat while taking LDN.

Has a broad range of healing effects..if you are not including it daily in your

diet..you might like to change that!

People who cannot tolerate fats, because of gallbladder removal can tolerate

this oil very well...

really its just soo good..do searches on the net..you will find loads!
