Guest guest
If Standard Process finds out, they will cut them off. Some supplement companies feel that they need to play the game. Standard process, Thorne, Metagenics are all good examples. -D ----- Original Message ----- From: Amber <mailto:amber@...> gallstones <mailto:gallstones > Sent: Sunday, September 23, 2007 8:20 PM Subject: Re: GB symptoms worsening I beg to differ because I buy it at mine. Amber You won't find Standard Process in a health food store, but any naturopath should be able to get it for you. It is a practitioner only company. -D . Guest guest
Here in NC, I buy my A-F Betafood at a health store that is owned by a naturopath. No other store I know of sells them. ************************************** See what's new at http://www.aol.com

Guest guest
It's was Amber who suggested them, I have been taking them since Feburary and I feel great on them. They really help me feel better especially after eating food that maybe I should not. ************************************** See what's new at http://www.aol.com
Guest guest
Hi Everyone, I see an old post of mine came forward... just today...weeks old now. Thing is, I'm doing good (in fact great!) since I had this problem about 6 to 8 weeks ago ago and eating somewhat normally now, so no problems since. Seemed definitely GB-related at the time... but here's another twist: (Forgive my absence the past few weeks... been real busy here) I think I irritated my GB and general bowel system by regularly drinking what I refer to as a power shake. I'll try to recapitulate here it's ingredients: -Chai (spell??) Protein powder -Berry Splash (Powered antioxidant berries with acai) -Apple juice or green tea as the mixing agent -Acai juice -Mangostine (spell???) -Noni juice -Sometimes Aloe juice -All my vitamins (Res-Q 1250 marine oil, B-complex, Vitamin C, Malic Magnesium, and maybe a few others, maybe ginsing. Most vitamins were time-release, so I crushed them. Forget what else I out in there... not much more... but they were loaded. Since stopping the " shakes " and lettting my system relax, the on and off pain has gone away completely. I can't explicitly say the shakes were the cause. Now I can eat almost anything without a problem. Will try to explain more when more time allows (in the middle of a big project right now). Still plan to see a alternative medicine MD whose prescribes the A-Z vitamins, etc. All for now. Regards, Fran ************************************** See what's new at http://www.aol.com
Guest guest
I would just flush every 2 weeks until I had no more stones franniboy@... wrote: Hi Everyone: Hope this message gets through since to propagate a message I usually spin off someone else's gallstones e-mail. Over the past month or two, my GB symtoms have worsened and I'm wondering how I can stem this problem and get it under control promptly. Been a member of this group for years, get and read most e-mails (so I'm a little up to date). These attacks come in " swells " lasting about 15 to 30 minutes, usually in morning but particularly at night. I flushed the other night at kept strict to the procedure and protocol. Was fine during flush, got some crud out. But my large stone (11mm a few years ago) I'm sure is still there. Seems no matter what I eat these days prompts an attack to a greater or lesser degree. Day after flush, symtoms returned almost all day... but that's understandablle since I probably ate something I should not have. What's the aggressive thing to do at this point to begin seeing some results to allieve my discomfort which, so far, is marginally tolerable but getting worse with time... I can tell? Right now there's tightness in my gut... but I'm drinking coffee... so. Thanks everyone and I'll wait for your advises. Hoping to avoid surgery. Obviously, starting a regime of vitamins (A-F) can't begin today, etc., but perhaps there's some other things I can do. I have a well-equipped Wholefoods nearby, so... Why won't modern medicine lipo-crush these stones for us so we can pass them????...or at least get out stones out and leave the GB??? Yes, I now the sentiments here about the medical community. Guest guest
I did 3 flushes and my N.D. said I needed to let my GB rest for at least 6 months before doing another. Might be good to check with each person's medical advisor. Amber I would just flush every 2 weeks until I had no more stones .

Guest guest
I disagree......Don't drink water right after you eat and wait usually longer than 30 min.......until the food in the stomach is digested.....30 minutes TO 2 HOURS, depending on what you ate and a lot of other variables, including how hydrated your body was before you ate. Make sure you are thouroughly hydrated 30 minutes BEFORE you eat. Guest guest
It seemed like Jess was just trying to be helpful..that dosen't equate to ignorance in my lexicon, ...there are more diplomatic ways to say someone was incorrect..if thats what you believe BTW ..if I had to wait several hours after my meals before drinking as someone suggested ...I'd never get too drink..lol Waiting 1 hr to drink after meals works fine for me fwiw Re: GB symptoms worsening Posted by: " Liz Sapareto " lizsapar@... lizsapar Sat Feb 9, 2008 6:59 pm (PST) Dave, I couldn't agree more - Jess is really ignorant
Guest guest
By the way...My seconding was only about water with meals. Dilution of stomach acids lowers effectiveness of that particular process. Water is absorbed directly through the stomach wall to some extent and if the fluid is only water it will pass through to the small intestine within a few minutes. Waiting 5 minutes after water before eating is sufficient and typically most food is through the stomach and into the small intestine within between 30 and 60 minutes. Depending on the moisture content of what you are eating fluids with the food might also be necessary. I am ignorant and like to think that I am remedying the situation. I care not about typos except for the momentary trip in my brain. Thans (spelling correct) for your post . -D ----- Original Message ----- From: O<mailto:mike225@...> gallstones <mailto:gallstones > Sent: Sunday, February 10, 2008 6:53 AM Subject: Re: GB symptoms worsening It seemed like Jess was just trying to be helpful..that dosen't equate to ignorance in my lexicon, ...there are more diplomatic ways to say someone was incorrect..if thats what you believe BTW ..if I had to wait several hours after my meals before drinking as someone suggested ...I'd never get too drink..lol Waiting 1 hr to drink after meals works fine for me fwiw Re: GB symptoms worsening Posted by: " Liz Sapareto " lizsapar@...<mailto:lizsapar@...> lizsapar Sat Feb 9, 2008 6:59 pm (PST) Dave, I couldn't agree more - Jess is really ignorant
