Guest guest
after a year of attacks I was finally told I had gallstones in Sept 07. Right away I was sent to see a surgeon and a date was scheduled, needless to say I chickened out and cancelled surgery. The doctors have me scared to death of all kinds of things that can happen to me if I dont have surgery. But my doctor put me on urso pills to try to disolve the stones. Ive been on this pill for about a month or so and I feel very " achy " in my gut. I am on a fat free diet, Ive lost 20+ pounds. I dont know if its the medicine causing the ache or what. I know I felt better before the medicine and the fat free diet when I just had attacks sometimes. Can anyone give me any advice?

Guest guest
Hi there, Don't know what to call you but I don't want to use your email address. The ursiolic acids may very well be what is causing your pain. If you take Tums or other antacids you will negate their effect. It may not have been that you chickened out, it might have been divine intervention. Can't recommend a fat free diet when you have gallstones, you need quality oils to help move bile in order to get rid of the stones. Weight loss is fantastic but can exacerbate the stone issue. The Ursiolic acids your doctor has you on take a long time to work. The methods here in the archives are much gentler on the system. Soften, thin, dilute, increase, bile flow. Lecithin, malic acid, lots of water, high quality oils, bile moving herbs and foods. Flush when you feel it is right. Always, in all ways, -Dave ----- Original Message ----- From: witchyyybitch<mailto:witchyyybitch@...> gallstones <mailto:gallstones > Sent: Monday, November 12, 2007 6:28 PM Subject: Scared of Surgery...but in pain after a year of attacks I was finally told I had gallstones in Sept 07. Guest guest
Yes, that shocked me, too. I don't know who put her on a fat free diet, but that's absolutely the wrong thing to do. Olive oil, flax oil, avocadoes, nuts, etc. are very good fats. Guest guest
Gallstones can be removed easily and speedily at home. There are many GB flushes to do. It is also very important to make preparations for them too. Getting some one to work on the points/meridians for the GB on the right food are very important. Castor oil packs over the liver area, and diet all play a role in helping you get rid of them. Don't allow yourself to be scared in to removing the GB because it will be the biggest mistake you have made. Just because the GB is gone, does not mean the stones will not return. They only now will take up lodging n the liver and that is bad. You will have health and eating problems you never dreamed possible. Let me recommend a drink to take that I have found easier to get down and keep down. Take one cup olive oil, 1/2 cup lemon juice, and 1/2 cup tomato juice and put in a pint jar. This is taken when you are ready to lay down in the bed for the night. Once you drink it dont get up for at least an hour. Lay on the right side and this is very important because this helps the mix to empty into the liver and GB area. They say pull your knees up to the chest to force this over to the liver area. During the day you need to drink lots of apple juice as it is a great stimulant to the liver and the gallbladder. I believe it is 8 ounces of juice one hour and 8 ounces water the next and so on through out the day. Avoid all saturated fats, fried foods, cheeses greasy meats and what ever else that is greasy. This is what is causing the problem in the first place. In the morning after having the cocktail for bedtime, You need to drink a heaping tablespoon of epsom salt in a 8 ounce glass of water with the juice of half a lemon. Drink this first thing. It takes about an hour for it to work on you. Be sure you are not going out for several hours. Also it is very important that you drink a lot of water during this first hour after the salts and all day long. The more water you drink the better the results you will have. This water helps to keep you hydrated, other wise you will lose lots of fluid during this dump. I know I have done lots of these and know how they work. I too have also thrown the cocktail up and it is not good. But that was before I added the tomato juice to it. Now, let me also say this. There is a slow way of doing this too. You can start with this recipe for 2 months and then go with the big cocktail I gave above. This one here is easy to take and good tasting. 1 cup tomato juice 1/4 cup xtra virgin olive oil, 1 teaspoon tumeric, and 2 pearls of garlic peeled and crushed and added. Blend all of this in the blender till completely blended. Drink half of it first thing in the morning. Wait 15 minutes and drink the rest of it. Wait 90 minutes before eating or drinking any thing. Repeat this once a week for 2 months. Then do the major and you will really dump a lot. This is so easy to take and actually I like the taste of it so much I made a salad dressing of the recipe by adding a little apple cider vinegar to it and a little salt. Great over salads. Hope this will help you. --- In gallstones , " witchyyybitch " <witchyyybitch@...> wrote: > > after a year of attacks I was finally told I had gallstones in Sept 07. > Right away I was sent to see a surgeon and a date was scheduled, > needless to say I chickened out and cancelled surgery. Guest guest
That's because the medical establishment is so damn myopic that they cannot see past treating or avoiding a symptom. The theory is that if you do not consume fats then you will not attempt to release large quantities of bile from the gallbladder. This is true but you cannot release the contents of the gallbladder if you do not run the lipids through the liver and create bile. If the water is turned off to the toilet, you cannot flush it. Keep in mind that their main treatment for gallbladder problems is to just remove the offending organ. This from the same school of thought that for hundreds of years treated everything with mercury (calumel), and blackballed the physician that suggested they wash their hands before surgery. As Dr. Mendelssohn (sp?) said in his most excellent book " The Confessions of a Medical Heretic " , " Medicine is not a science in our country, it is a religion. " . To survive optimally, most of us need to be responsible for our health and believe no one but educate ourselves and make our own decisions. -D ----- Original Message ----- From: julia cameron<mailto:julielatinred@...> gallstones <mailto:gallstones > Sent: Saturday, November 17, 2007 9:23 AM Subject: Re: Re: Scared of Surgery...but in pain Hi thats funny because my Dr. just told me to go on fat free diet untill I had surgery. ----- Original Message ---- From: Amber <amber@...<mailto:amber@...>> gallstones <mailto:gallstones > Sent: Friday, November 16, 2007 8:08:38 PM Subject: Re: Scared of Surgery...but in pain Yes, that shocked me, too. Guest guest
FYI Keep in mind that not all doctors are created equal and it sounds like the one who recommended a fat free diet really is out of touch.
