Guest guest
The apparent silliness of the Holmes show combined with the total refusal by other television networks and media outlets to deal with this subject, combined with the substantial hostility from medicine, suggests to me that there is only one way to get justice. And that is through the courts. The seriousness of the courtroom setting will preclude both the silliness and the hostile refusal to discuss the issues. However, there is a glimmer of hope. The Connecticut Attorney General's office decided to investigate the Infectious Disease Society of America because their guideline on Lyme Disease allowed medical insurance companies to cut off payments for treatment of chrmonic Lyme Disease. Although they did not go to court, the IDSA now has to redo the guidelines with all of relevant science represented with meetings open to the public and with an ombudsman representing the people. The Connecticut AG's office found all sorts of irregularities in the previous guideline process including conflicts of interest, unethical behavior, independent supporting guidelines that were not independent, etc. Basically, we have the same situation in the hypothyroidism realm. Should any one know of a law firm, or whatever a group of lawyers, barristers is called over on your side of the pond, I would like to know because I am about to soclict firms for a huge class action suit. Have a great day,
